April 20th Grades 3-5 ELA
April 21st Grades 3-5 ELA
April 24th Grades 3-5 Math
April 25th Grades 3-5 Math
April 26th 5th Grade Science – NOT 3RD GRADE
April 27th 5th Grade Social Studies – NOT 3RD GRADE

It is a long document, but it is full of good information. We have been going through the study guide at school and I’ve made some similar practice questions based on the study guide.

In addition to ensuring daily attendance, you can also have your student practice with the Georgia online testing platform. The site is http://www.gaexperienceonline.com.  This site will allow your student to manipulate the online testing tools and become familiar with the features he or she will encounter during testing. Only certain students will be taking the test online based on his or her testing accommodations. Your child knows if he or she is one of those people. If you’re not sure, feel free to ask!

During the assessment period, please make sure your child gets plenty of rest, has a good breakfast, and is at school on time.

Yes, this test is important, but it is also just one piece of who your child is academically. My goal is to make the testing days as stress-free as possible!

We will also spend a little time learning about and locating major rivers on a United States map. We will study the Rio Grande, Colorado, Mississippi, Hudson, and Ohio rivers.

There will be NO HOMEWORK this week!!! Your child may want to review some math skills by playing various games on our blog  and of course, 20 minutes of nightly reading is highly encouraged, but not required this week.

Please let me or Mrs. Levi know if you have any questions or concerns.
